Established in 2013 by the Lagos State Government, LASUSTECH has been providing top-notch undergraduate and postgraduate programs across various fields such as engineering, science, technology, and the arts. If you’re aspiring to join this prestigious institution, here’s what you need to know about the admission process for the 2027/2028 academic session.

Cut Off Mark and Eligibility

For the 2027/2028 academic session, LASUSTECH has set the official cut off mark at 160. This means that candidates who achieve a score of 160 or higher in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to apply for admission into any course of their choice at LASUSTECH.

Calculating Your Cut Off Mark

To calculate your LASUSTECH cut off mark, you’ll require your UTME score and the specific subject combination required for your chosen course. Subject combinations can be found on the LASUSTECH website. The cut off mark is calculated as follows:

• Add your UTME score to the total score of the correct subjects.
• For instance, if your UTME score is 200 and you scored well in five subjects related to your chosen course, your cut off mark would be 250.

Applying for LASUSTECH

Applying to LASUSTECH is a straightforward process. Begin by creating an account on the LASUSTECH website and then submit your application form. An application fee of ₦2,000 is also required. The application form can be found on the LASUSTECH website.

Post UTME Screening

Once the application deadline passes, LASUSTECH conducts a post UTME screening for all eligible candidates. This screening consists of a written exam and an interview. The written exam evaluates your understanding of subjects studied in secondary school, while the interview assesses your communication skills and suitability for your chosen course.

Admission List Release

After the post UTME screening, LASUSTECH publishes an admission list on their official website. This list contains the names of successful candidates who have been granted admission to the university.

Remedial Programme for Lower Scores

If you’ve scored below the cut off mark, don’t be disheartened. LASUSTECH offers a remedial programme designed to help students improve their academic performance. This program provides an opportunity for students with lower scores to enhance their skills and qualify for admission.

Seeking Additional Information

For further information about LASUSTECH, visit the university’s official website or reach out to the LASUSTECH admissions office. They will be able to address any queries or concerns you may have regarding the admission process, courses offered, and more.
