The Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, has officially released its Post UTME screening form for the 2023/2024 academic session. Eligible candidates are invited to register for the screening exercise, and in this blog post, we will provide all the necessary information about the program, including eligibility criteria, application process, and required documents.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Kogi State Poly Post UTME screening, candidates must have chosen Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, as their first choice in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and attained a minimum score of 160.

Application Process:

Qualified candidates are required to make a non-refundable payment of N2,000 (Two thousand naira) only through the University’s portal. The official website for Kogi State Poly Post UTME registration is The application process is online, but payment can also be made through Remita using any acceptable debit card (Visa, Verve, and Master Card) or by printing the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) slip and paying at any commercial bank listed on the portal.

Required Documents:

Candidates are expected to present the following original documents at the screening centers in a quarto-size envelope labeled with their name, department, and JAMB registration number:

  1. O’ level results
  2. JAMB result/acknowledgment slip
  3. A’ level results, diploma, or IJMB (as applicable)
  4. O’ level certificate/statement of result(s)
  5. Two Passport Photographs
  6. Indigene letter
  7. Certificate of birth/declaration of age

Screening Date:

The screening date for the Kogi State Poly Post UTME will be communicated to all qualified candidates via their registered email addresses and phone numbers. It is important to provide a valid email address and phone number during the registration process.

Important Note:

Candidates who fail to appear for the screening exercise on the scheduled dates will not be considered for admission into any of the programs in the university for the 2023/2024 academic session.
