UI Post UTME Cut Off Mark:

The minimum cut-off mark for the UI Post UTME screening is 180. Candidates who scored 180 and above in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and made the University of Ibadan their first choice are eligible to apply.

How to Apply for UI Post UTME:

To apply for the UI Post UTME, follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit the official UI Post UTME registration portal at
  2. Pay the non-refundable screening fee of N2,000 (Two thousand naira) through the university’s portal. Payment can be made online via Remita using any acceptable debit card (Visa, verve, and Master Card) or by printing the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) slip and proceeding to any commercial bank listed on the portal.
  3. Complete the online application form on the UI portal.
  4. After submission, you will be required to present the following original documents at the screening centers:
    • O’ level results
    • JAMB result/acknowledgment slip
    • A’ level results, diploma, or IJMB (as applicable to you)
    • O’ level certificate/statement of result(s)
    • 2 Passport Photographs
    • Indigene letter
    • Certificate of birth/declaration of age

Ensure you pack these credentials in a quarto-size envelope labeled with your name, department, and JAMB registration number.


Only candidates who chose the University of Ibadan as their first choice in the 2023 UTME and scored a minimum of 180 are eligible to apply for the UI Post UTME screening.

The screening date for the UI Post UTME will be communicated to qualified candidates via the email addresses and phone numbers used during registration. Therefore, it is essential to provide valid contact information while registering.

Important Note:

Candidates who fail to participate in the screening exercise on the scheduled dates will not be considered for admission into any program at the University of Ibadan for the 2023/2024 academic session.
