ATBU Post UTME Cut Off Mark:

The Management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University has set the cut-off mark for the 2023/2024 academic session at 180. Only candidates who scored a minimum of 180 in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and chose ATBU as their first choice are eligible to apply for the Post UTME screening.

How to Apply for ATBU Post UTME:

To apply for the ATBU Post UTME screening, qualified candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000 (Two thousand naira) via the university’s official portal at The application process is strictly online and can also be done on the school campus. Alternatively, candidates can make the payment online using acceptable debit cards (Visa, Verve, or Master Card) through Remita or print the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) slip and make the payment at any commercial bank listed on the portal.

Required Documents for Screening:

After completing the online application, candidates must present the original copies of the following credentials at the screening centers:

  1. O’ level results
  2. JAMB result/acknowledgment slip
  3. A’ level results, diploma, or IJMB (if applicable)
  4. O’ level certificate/statement of result(s)
  5. Two passport photographs
  6. Indigene letter
  7. Certificate of birth/declaration of age

All these credentials should be packed in a quarto-size envelope and labeled with the candidate’s name, department, and JAMB registration number.
