The Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State, has released its Post UTME admission form for the 2023/2024 academic session. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to register for the screening exercise. Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the FUTIA Post UTME screening, candidates must have selected Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State as their first choice in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Additionally, candidates must have obtained a minimum score of 180 in the UTME.

Application Process:

Qualified candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000 (Two thousand naira) via the University’s portal at www.futia.edu.ng. The application can be completed online or on the school campus. Payment can also be made online via Remita using any acceptable debit card (Visa, Verve, and Master Card) or by printing the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) slip and proceeding to any commercial banks listed on the portal.

Required Documents:

After successful registration, candidates must present the following original documents at the screening centers:

  1. O’ level results
  2. JAMB result/acknowledgment slip
  3. A’ level results, diploma, or IJMB (as applicable)
  4. O’ level certificate/statement of result(s)
  5. 2 Passport Photographs
  6. Indigene letter
  7. Certificate of birth/declaration of age

All these credentials should be packed in a quarto-size envelope and labeled with the candidate’s name, department, and JAMB registration number.

FUTIA Post UTME Screening Date:

The screening date schedule for the FUTIA Post UTME will be communicated to all qualified candidates through their respective email addresses and phone numbers used during registration. Candidates are advised to provide valid contact information to receive updates.

Important Note:

Candidates who fail to appear for the screening exercise on the specified dates will not be considered for admission into any of the university’s programs during the 2023/2024 academic session.
